The website is operated by Steven Dean Erath, an independent music creator established in Alicante, Spain. Privacy enquiries can be sent to contact@indiefolkradio.com.
Information processed
The website has no user accounts, contact form, comments or newsletter form. If you contact the project by email, the information you choose to provide—such as your name, email address and message—is processed to answer the enquiry and maintain necessary correspondence. Technical request and security information may also be processed by the hosting and security providers when the website is visited.
Purposes and legal bases
Email information is used to respond to requests, manage artist or business communication and, where necessary, establish or defend legal claims. Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on steps requested before a possible agreement, legitimate interests in communicating about the project, or compliance with legal obligations. The website does not use submitted contact information for an undisclosed newsletter.
Hosting, email and recipients
The website is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites infrastructure and delivered using Cloudflare services. Incoming domain email is routed by Cloudflare to a Google Gmail account. These providers process information under their own service and privacy terms. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area where a provider relies on an applicable legal transfer mechanism.
External music services
YouTube and Spotify players are optional third-party services. They are not loaded until a visitor allows external media. Loading or using a player can send technical information to the relevant platform and may cause it or its partners to store or access cookies or similar technologies. YouTube uses its privacy-enhanced embed domain on this website. Visitors can reject embedded media and use the ordinary external platform links instead.
Retention
Email correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, ongoing relationship, applicable accounting or legal duties, and the handling of possible claims. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or securely restricted where retention is legally required.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection as applicable, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to contact@indiefolkradio.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es.
Cookies and analytics
Read the cookie and external-media policy for the current technologies and privacy choices. No advertising tracker, Google Analytics property or Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon is currently installed. Google Search Console verifies site ownership and reports search performance but does not add a visitor-tracking script to these pages.
Automated decisions
The website operator does not use personal information collected through this website for automated decision-making or profiling.

Indie Folk Radio is created and directed by Steven Dean Erath. Writing, creative direction and curation shape the project, with AI used as part of the music-production process.
