Indie Folk Radio welcomes considered submissions from independent artists, labels and publicists working around indie folk, contemporary folk, psych-folk and acoustic songwriting.
What fits here
We look for songs with a clear acoustic or folk identity, thoughtful writing and a real reason for listeners to spend time with them. A submission may lead to an artist-discovery feature, a release note or no coverage at all. Editorial inclusion is never guaranteed or paid for.
What to send
- Artist name, track or release title, release date and one public listening link
- A short approved biography or press release and two to four sentences about the song
- Official artist and streaming links
- Cover artwork and one high-resolution press photograph, preferably as download links
- Photographer and artwork credits, plus clear confirmation that the supplied images may be used for editorial coverage
- A note identifying any material use of AI in the music, artwork or promotional media
How the review works
Please send one focused release per email. We listen independently and reply only when we need more information or want to develop coverage. We do not promise publication dates, reviews, radio rotation, audience figures or social promotion. If a feature is published, we send the link; sharing it is appreciated but never required.
Rights and privacy
Only send material you are authorised to share. Rights remain with their owners, and permission is limited to the editorial use agreed with the sender. Email details are used to review and answer the submission, not for an undisclosed newsletter. See the privacy policy for the full information.
